Take your time to find something beautiful
The Seventh Sea was created during a time that forever changed Linda's life. After losing her brother Donique, who chose to take his own life at 29, she felt the need to create something tangible. Something that wouldn't replace his presence, but could keep him close.
She wanted to incorporate his ashes into something beautiful. Something lasting. Thus began her quest to work with Italian glass. What began as a personal grieving process evolved into a craft. Linda trained in glassworking and later in goldsmithing, allowing her to design and craft each piece entirely herself.
She originally comes from the creative industry. She worked as an online designer, modeled for a leading agency for many years, and worked for Wehkamp for eight years. She also designed for various magazines. Aesthetics, image, and refinement have always been a common thread in her life.
But it wasn't until she began working with fire and glass that it all felt like it came together. Creativity began to make sense.
Light, water, movement, and stillness are her sources of inspiration. She also has a deep love for beauty, poetry, and craftsmanship. For words and materials that can speak and evoke feelings.
The Seventh Sea isn't a company born from a business plan. It was born from love. From loss. From the need to hold memories not only in your heart, but also in your hands.
“Every time I get to make a piece of jewelry for someone else, it feels like that original beginning is still there.”

Axl is my sweet Newfoundland and a regular presence during Personal Consultations. With his impressive presence and disarming enthusiasm, he's hard to miss.
He greets visitors with a genuine joy that sometimes surpasses his coordination. A gentle giant who doesn't always fully realize his size, but whose intentions are always gentle 🤍.
His presence brings lightness to moments that can be sensitive. Not through words, but through genuine, unfiltered joy.
Within The Seventh Sea he reminds us that warmth can sometimes be grand and a little clumsy.
The Seventh Sea is built on attention, trust, and care. For collaborations with funeral directors, grief counselors, and other professionals, I work with Jeroen van Woezik.
Jeroen supports The Seventh Sea strategically and commercially. With his background in law, privacy, and technology, he brings clarity and structure to partnerships, ensuring agreements are carefully documented and collaborations can grow sustainably.
What characterizes him is his combination of analytical acuity and creative sensitivity. Besides his legal work, he makes music and has a distinct love of fine wines and long conversations. This balance between reason and creativity fits seamlessly with the world of The Seventh Sea, where careful agreements go hand in hand with emotional significance.
He understands that every memorial piece has a personal story behind it. That's why he approaches every collaboration with respect, integrity, and a long-term focus.
If you are a funeral professional, practice, or concept store and would like to collaborate with us, Jeroen will guide you through the process with the same care with which I create my jewelry.
This way, creativity and business clarity remain in balance.
