GENERAL

These Terms and Conditions of The Seventh Sea, hereinafter referred to as "The Seventh Sea," apply to all offers, products, orders, agreements, and deliveries through www.theseventhsea.nl. By placing an order, you agree to these terms and conditions.

The Seventh Sea reserves the right to discontinue products at any time. These terms and conditions may also be amended from time to time. Your order is subject to the terms and conditions in effect on the date the order was placed. If you do not agree to any changes, please discontinue use of the website.

AGREEMENT & ORDERS

The agreement is concluded when you place the order via the online order form.

The Seventh Sea will process your order after payment has been received. After placing your order, you will receive an email confirmation at the address you provided. If you do not receive an email, your order remains valid.

Images on the website may vary slightly from the final product. The same colors are used, but because each piece is handmade, each piece is unique.

All prices are shown in euros and include VAT. The Seventh Sea reserves the right to refuse an order or terminate an agreement. Texts and images on the website are subject to change without notice.

The applicable price is the price at the time of ordering. Prices may be adjusted due to unforeseen increases in the cost of imported materials or currency fluctuations.

PRICE FLUCTUATIONS

All prices quoted are based on the current market value of precious metals.

Because the price of gold and silver can fluctuate daily, The Seventh Sea reserves the right to adjust prices without notice if necessary due to changes in material costs.

If a significant change in the gold price occurs after placing an order but before production begins, you may be contacted to discuss any price adjustments. In that case, you always have the option to continue, modify, or cancel the order.

Transparency and careful communication are paramount here.

POSTAGE COSTS

Orders within the Netherlands and Belgium are shipped free of charge. For other international orders, the shipping rate is €35.

Please note that orders shipped outside the EU (such as to the US, UK, Canada or Australia) may be subject to import duties or local taxes upon arrival.

These charges are determined by local customs and are the responsibility of the recipient.

It's also possible to ship your order as a "gift" under $100, which usually avoids import duties. Please note that this option is not insured against loss or damage.

Because each country has its own rules and regulations regarding the shipping of ashes or other memorial materials, I kindly ask you to arrange this part yourself.

Please don't worry if this feels a bit overwhelming. If you need help, explanation, or some extra reassurance, I'm happy to walk you through the process step by step.

DELIVERY

The Seventh Sea ships the order within 4 to 6 weeks after receiving the ashes, depending on the design chosen.

Any unused ashes, as well as any photos, letters or other personal materials sent, will be returned along with the jewelry.

If an incorrect delivery address has been provided and this results in additional costs, these additional costs will be charged.

SHIPPING & TRANSPORT

The Seventh Sea remains responsible for the order until delivery. After delivery, this responsibility passes to the customer.

The packages are shipped via a reliable parcel service.

The customer is responsible for complying with the import regulations of the destination country. Import duties, taxes, and customs fees may apply when shipping outside the European Union. These fees are imposed by the destination country and are the sole responsibility of the recipient.

The Seventh Sea has no control over these charges and cannot determine them in advance. We recommend contacting your local customs authorities for up-to-date information before ordering.

PAYMENT

Payment can be made via the available online payment methods, including iDEAL and PayPal.

All prices are shown in euros. Any additional fees for international transactions or currency conversion are the responsibility of the customer.

If an incorrect price is mistakenly stated on the website and this is clearly an error, The Seventh Sea reserves the right to correct it, even after an order has been placed.

WARRANTY AND RETURNS

The Seventh Sea jewelry is exquisitely and carefully handcrafted. If, upon receipt, you find that your jewelry has arrived damaged, despite careful packaging, please contact us by email within 48 hours, providing clear photos and an explanation.

Because each piece of jewelry is made with personal materials such as ashes, hair, or fabric, returns cannot be accepted.

All solid gold jewelry and custom-made pieces are custom-made to order. These are not exchangeable or refundable. Purchases are final.

DISPUTES

All legal relationships are exclusively governed by Dutch law.

SHARING CONTENT

The content of this website may be shared, provided that The Seventh Sea is clearly stated and, if shared online, a correct attribution or link to the website is provided.
