A place where loss, love and memory exist side by side. Where nothing needs to be rushed, explained or fixed. I never wanted to create “products”. I wanted to create memorial jewelry that feels gentle, personal and timeless.
At The Seventh Sea, I handcraft memorial jewelry in which ashes, hair or another personal element are carefully transformed into a tangible keepsake. Not to hold on to grief, but to keep love close.
Why I create memorial jewelry by hand
Every memorial piece I make starts with a story. I do not work with stock, each piece is created from scratch with a lot of care.
The glass beads are handmade using traditional lampworking techniques. During the heating process, a small amount of ashes or hair is carefully incorporated into the molten glass. Through heat, movement and time, a unique pattern emerges with the energy of your lost loved one or pet. No two memorial beads will ever be the same.
That uniqueness is essential to me. A life cannot be replicated, neither should a memorial.
Carbon Energy
When working with ashes or hair in glass, there is a time period and temperature where all off the air / Carbon Energy inside the bone or hair fragments tries to escape.
This is the last air left inside your body after cremation. As unique as a fingerprint, they also call it 'The Last Breath'.
Carbon Energy at its essence, is what we are all made of.
And this Energy never dies, just like our memories 🤍

Subtle cremation jewelry you can truly wear
Many people who find The Seventh Sea are looking for cremation jewelry that does not look like cremation jewelry. They want something soft, understated and wearable. Something that blends into daily life, while still carrying deep meaning.
I design memorial jewelry that is minimalist, refined and calm. Pieces that can be worn every day, without feeling heavy or confronting. Jewelry that becomes part of you, rather than something you consciously carry.
Handmade memorial jewelry in the Netherlands
All memorial jewelry is handmade in my atelier in the Netherlands (The Hague). From our first contact to the final shipment, the entire process stays with me. This allows me to work with care, precision and respect.
Ashes are always handled in very small quantities. Any remaining material is safely returned or respectfully stored, depending on your wishes. Transparency and trust are essential throughout this process.

Memorial jewelry for loved ones and pets
I create memorial jewelry for people who have lost a loved one, but also for those mourning a beloved pet. The bond with an animal is often pure, constant and deeply emotional. That loss deserves the same tenderness and attention.
Some people choose colours that remind them of eyes, fur or energy. Others simply choose what feels right for daily wear. There is no correct choice. Only your choice 🤍
A personal process, without pressure
Choosing memorial jewelry is an intimate decision. You do not need to know exactly what you want before reaching out. There is space for questions, doubt and silence.
I guide you gently through the process, at your pace. Nothing needs to be rushed.
A memory that moves with you
A piece from The Seventh Sea is not about closure. It is about presence. A quiet reminder that love does not disappear. Sometimes you will wear it every day. Sometimes only when you need it most. Either way, it will be there. Softly. Constantly 🤍
